Holiday Hours at Sandy Hill Community Health Centre

 

As the holiday season approaches, we would like to wish our patients and community a safe and peaceful holiday. 


Please note the following holiday hours and service updates and that  appointments may be more limited during this period:

 

Safe Consumption Services

Our Safe Consumption Services remain open daily, Mon-Sun, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the holiday period.

 

Other Programs & Services

Between December 22 and January 4, the following services will remain open at reduced capacity:


  •       Drop-in Program, Mon-Fri, 12noon-5pm - Closed on December 25 and 26 (including Community Clean-up.) 

 

  •         Outreach Services, Mon-Sun, 8am-4pm - Closed on Dec 25

 

  •       Health Services, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm - Closed on Dec 25th and Jan 1st
  • We will be open for urgent access appointments only from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on:
  • December 24
  • December 26
  • December 31
  • If you are a Registered Health Services client and require urgent after-hours telephone medical advice, you can access the on-call services by calling 613-239-4006.
  • If you require medical advice when the on-call service is not available, please contact Health811 at 8 1 1 (TTY: 1-866-797-0007)


  •       Oasis, Mon-Fri, 9-5pm - Closed Dec 25th, 26th and Jan 1st


  •        Social Services Walk In Clinic, Mon-Fri, 9-5pm - Closed Dec 25th, 26th and Jan 1st
  • We will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on:
  • December 24
  • December 26
  • December 31

As we are in this holiday season, we are also in a flu season, and cases are steadily increasing. The flu shot remains one of the most effective ways to protect ourselves from influenza but during this time let’s all remember the simple steps that make a big difference: wash your hands, cover coughs and sneezes, clean shared surfaces regularly, and stay home if you are sick.
