The Centre provides medical and social services for people living with, or concerned about HIV and/or hepatitis C, and who encounter barriers to services because they use street drugs, have a mental illness, are homeless or are involved in the sex trade. Our services include a drop-in centre, medical staff, counselling, street health outreach, an experienced dietitian, needle exchange services and complementary care.
Individuals are also encouraged to visit the hepatitis C website at www.hepcontario.ca to learn more about hepatitis C and to access a self-assessment tool that will assess their risk of exposure to hepatitis C. We also encourage you to read Hep C at a Glance, which is a very useful guide that provides a quick reference to important information and answers some basic questions about Hep C.
