Community Health Centres (CHCs) are non-profit, community governed organizations that provide primary health care, health promotion, and community development services, using interdisciplinary teams of health providers. CHCs are sponsored and managed by incorporated non-profit community boards.
Since 1975, Sandy Hill Community Health Centre/Centre de santé communautaire Côte-de-Sable has provided programs to address the health and well-being of those who live and work in Sandy Hill, Ottawa East and the City of Ottawa.
